Does This Sound Familiar?

Your child has so much potential… but something is holding them back.

🎯 They Struggle to Focus

You find yourself repeating instructions over and over. It's hard for them to stay locked in—even on things they enjoy.

😟 They Lack Real Confidence

They hesitate, doubt themselves, and hold back—even when you know they're capable of more. They need to believe in themselves.

📱 Screens Are Taking Over

Tablets, games, and constant stimulation are becoming the default instead of real growth. You want them to do something meaningful.

⛓️ They Quit Too Easily

When things get hard, they want to give up instead of pushing through. You want them to develop resilience and grit.

📋 They Lack Discipline

You want them to be more focused, respectful, and consistent—but it hasn't clicked yet. They need structure and accountability.

You're not alone. Hundreds of Los Angeles parents face the same challenge. And here's the good news: this can change.

How Our Structured Karate Program Transforms Kids

More than martial arts – a system for building confidence, discipline, and leadership on and off the mat.

🥋

Structured Curriculum

Every class is designed with purpose. Your child builds real skills step by step instead of just staying busy. We follow a proven progression system that keeps them engaged and growing.

🎯

Belt Progression System

Clear goals and real milestones keep your child motivated, focused, and proud of their progress. Each belt earned is a real achievement—not a participation trophy.

🧠

Leadership & Character Development

We teach respect, discipline, self-control, and resilience. Your child learns to lead with confidence and handle challenges with grace.

Led by Kyoshi Robert Torres

Crescent Moon Karate is built on high standards, strong leadership, and a commitment to helping every child grow on and off the mat. This is more than an after-school activity. It is a structured path for building confidence, discipline, and character.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Kids Karate in Los Angeles

My child is shy. Will they be comfortable?
Absolutely. We create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where every child feels safe to grow. Shy kids often thrive here because they get individual attention and encouragement. Many of our most confident kids started out shy.
We've never done martial arts before. Is it okay for beginners?
Perfect. Our program is designed for beginners. We teach everything from scratch, and every child progresses at their own pace. No experience needed.
What if my child wants to quit?
We focus on building intrinsic motivation, not forcing commitment. Most kids want to continue because they see real progress and feel proud of their achievements. If it's not the right fit, we offer a full refund during the trial.
How long does it take to earn a belt?
Typically 2–3 months per belt, depending on how often your child trains and how quickly they progress. Each belt represents real skill development and achievement.
Do you offer makeup classes?
Yes. If your child misses a class, they can make it up at another time that week. We want to support consistent training.
What age is best to start?
We accept kids ages 4–12. The younger they start, the more time they have to build these skills. But it's never too late to start.
How do I know if this is right for my child?
That's exactly why we offer the 14-day trial. Your child will experience the full program, meet our instructors, and you'll see if it's the right fit. If not, we refund your money.
